As the buyer advisor on the Trilogy Agents team, Judy does a lot more than just show houses! Her job entails educating buyers on all aspects of the purchasing process, so that they can make wise buying decisions; guiding them through the many complexities of the transaction; and negotiating on their behalf to help them secure the home of their dreams at the best possible price. And when the time comes to resell that home, it may well be Judy and the Trilogy team who put together the successful deal!

Judy's clients appreciate her ability to listen, to understand their needs, to answer their questions, to address their concerns, and to take care of the countless details that are part of every home purchase. Judy's highest priority, when she represents you as a buyer advisor, is to forge a close working relationship that will help make your homehunting experience a rewarding one!

Judy grew up in Montreal and obtained her B.A. in French language and literature from Middlebury College ( Vermont ). After graduating, she moved to Ottawa , where she built a career as an information officer in the communications branches of several federal government departments. In her free time, she indulged a longtime passion by working towards a diploma in interior design, which she received in 1984. Her last position in government was as spokesperson for the Minister of National Revenue.

Judy brings to the table a wealth of business experience that has helped her hone her communication and negotiating skills to her clients' best advantage, saving them thousands of dollars. And her keen eye for space and colour have proven invaluable to Judy's clients, in terms of helping them to organize their furnishings in their new living space and to show off their home to its full potential.

After moving to Toronto in 1985, Judy raised two daughters, while running a home-based business as a freelance writer, editor, and communications advisor to clients ranging from the Department of National Defence and the Ministry of the Environment, to Bell Canada and the Rouge Valley Health System.

In 2003, with her children grown and leaving the nest, Judy decided to plunge into a field that had always fascinated her and that she had followed closely for many years: real estate. She obtained her licence and joined a boutique real estate brokerage in Toronto in the fall of 2003. After three and a half years at that firm, she was recruited by the Trilogy Agents team, to work as their Buyer Advisor at Chestnut Park Real Estate. And the rest is history!

Judy looks forward to the excitement and challenges presented by every buyer's unique situation and needs, and invites prospective buyers to contact her anytime with their questions and concerns. She is always available to lend assistance and to act as their primary resource for real estate information.

Shantell's #1 goal is to deliver outstanding customer service to you and to the other members of our team. Shantell oversees implementation & follow-up of our marketing programs for each of our sales listings and maintains all client files.
